Highlights of the festival are some of St. Augustine’s most prestigious entertainers who provide memorable performances on two stages against a backdrop of art and culture in a festival setting. Performances include folk, blues and jazz traditions, and spotlight award-winning songwriters.
At the River Expo, environmental organizations like Sierra Club, Bartram Trail Society and the Guana Tolomato Matanzas (GTM) Reserve and others join Lullaby of the Rivers in teaching people about nature, especially Florida’s rivers, and explore how nature inspires the arts.
Activities and workshops in the Kid Zone invite the whole family to participate. Kids (and adults too) love making walking sticks out of bamboo. We call these festival favorites our River Sticks, They’re cut to size and ready to personalize while learning how to use them. Kids can also create masterpieces with paint and markers using an assortment of natural decorations.
Everyone wants to take a bit of the festival home with them. Lullaby of the Rivers Festival vendors offer an array of nature-inspired wares, from pottery to soap, and provide favorite festival foods and beverages.
The Lullaby of the Rivers Festival is open from 10 to 5 on the grounds outside the Limelight Theatre. Admission to the festival is free. The Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Avenue, St. Augustine FL 32084.
