Creating Tactile Art - Workshop with Jenny Keyser

Led by local artist Jenny Keyser, this course will introduce innovative techniques to create artwork that not only stimulates the eyes, but delights the fingertips. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, you will experiment with materials through mixed media, and break free from the traditional visual constraints of art. Discover how to add dimension to your work that can make it more accessible to viewers, as well as engaging for the visually impaired and blind.

Through explorations of texture, shape and form, you’ll learn how to craft your very own multi-sensory masterpiece — just in time for October’s Tactile Art Show!
