The Vilano Beach Nature Boardwalk at 116 Poplar Ave is a quarter-mile boardwalk under the Francis & Mary Usina Bridge with scenic views of the salt marsh. This boardwalk connects the residential neighborhood to the Vilano Beach Town Center.

There are six beautiful wildlife mosaics created by local artist and art teacher Janine Regina-Fonseca and eight Florida School of the Deaf and Blind students at the entrances to the boardwalk. In 2012 the Vilano Main Street, St. Johns County, and the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind partnered to create accessible signage and the mosaics that feature local fauna.

Other partners on the project included the St. Augustine Art Association, St. Augustine Historical Society, and the GTMNR. The boardwalk was a community driven project that began with funding in the early 2000s from residents.

The panels feature braille and English, and the boardwalk is wheelchair accessible. The boardwalk is open dawn to dusk.
