Planet Sarbez

Planet Sarbez is a public art experience. The coffee & beer bar/ gallery/ game room/ one-of-a-kind boutique is engulfed in the arts from the visual to the culinary. The owner and artist, Ryan Kunsch, wanted the space to be a gathering place for artists alike whose underlying theme is spontaneity. The spontaneous energy can be seen throughout the space and felt in how it has evolved since Planet Sarbez opened in 2013.

The art is a backdrop for the cultural center inside with live music, food, conversation, and life which are all catalysts for creating art. The murals have expanded to include the entire exterior of the building and the styles are as vibrant and spontaneous as the Sarbez owner. The urban spontaneity on each wall has nods to surrealism, doodle street art, and geometric abstraction. Planet Sarbez should be added to the list of a public art lover venturing through the city whether on a planned vacation or spontaneous adventure.
