SNEAK PREVIEW: MADDIE

Join members of Rising Tide Productions as they share a sneak preview of the new play Maddie.

Maddie is a retelling of the Medea story that blends its mythic framework with our contemporary world.  This piece is a domestic drama and an exploration of power, gender, and culture. It blends conventions of ancient Greek theater (chorus, messengers, dance, and lyrical structure) with gritty contemporary dialogue and relevance.

Rising Tide Productions is a collective of local writers, actors, performance artists, and technicians dedicated to producing original scripts and innovative interpretations of existing works. Their goal is to enhance the cultural community by providing relevant, relatable, and thought-provoking theatrical experiences.

Come get a glimpse of this new play which will have its premiere in St. Augustine this summer!
